Yeah, it's a lot of money, but it is only money.

My point was more "is it a good bike or a right bag of nails?" that they would warrantee it for 12 month unlimited miles must be worth quite a bit and must say it's not about to let go (in their opinion), how much would you want to do that to an NSR with a wired oil cap?
And it's clearly NOT been raced, wheres the lockwired brakes and sump? If it's been on the track so what? If not I'll soon fix that, it's what it was built for Razz

How many of us would buy it if it was only £2000?

If that would change your opinion then you are worrying about a couple of months wages and an amount of money which will be insignificant over the years.
When I was a bit younger I had a mk2 Escort, spent a fortune on it over the years (about £8k) then swapped it for a mk1 Escort Mexico, spent about the same on that (at least Embarassed) and sold it for .............. £800. But I wouldn't do it different again if I could. I had a good time.

I do hear what your all saying and you're totally correct, then again the guy with the brand new CBR600rr who tells all of us grey sports bike fiends to get a grip and buy something new is totally correct as well. Idea
