one cylinder running hot

baron580 » Thu Nov 18, 2010 11:08 pm

Does anybody know wht the front cylinder would run hotter that the rear one?
I fitted DFR pipes, jetting left as standard for now. In fact DFR emailed me and said that there was no need to re-jet as long as the air box and air filter was standard and unmodified.
Anyway, started the bike and left it warm up for about 4 mins. I then noticed the exhaust pipe on the front cylinder was alot hotter than the one on the rear. Also the exhaust gas emmiting from the right exhaust pipe(front cylinder) was hotter than the left pipe(rear cylinder).
Just wondering if this is normal or is there something up.
