You say leave it open to air, Stephen says to remove the hose all together and leave the 'X' piece open to air..
Could a hose be run just directly from the 'X' piece to the solenoid(thingy), or if you were to remove the hose all together, does the solenoid(thingy) need to be blocked or open??
