Certainly Honda's heyday! Not only for the NSR, but the CBR's and VFR's too. Now I find it difficult to differentiate between a CBR600, a CBR1000, and even an R1 or GSX-R from more than a few feet away!
The MC16 F-III was an awesome bit of kit, for 1987! 68hp "by the book" on 28mm non-PWJ carbs (so plenty of scope for improvement), and some real trick parts that never even made it onto the MC18 or MC21 F-III's! I've got all the kit for one less the 3-spoke Magteks. One day I'll get on with assembling it... maybe!
