Maybe not such a redundant question after all...

Out of curiosity I went and checked the engine casing sticker on my 21SE tonight, and it says 0.7L and 0.8L on it!

I've just spent best part of an hour pawing through the Japanese Workshop manual, and in the MC18 R2J section found a 0.8L reference!

The way the manual works is this; the full MC16 spec's are listed, and used right throughout the book for all models unless something is changed. Any change in spec' is listed at the beginning of the relevant model section, and that spec' is then "assumed" for all following models.

I missed the 0.8L in the R2J section I'm afraid, so you are correct questioning the spec's page Jeff - models from MC18 on use more oil in the transmission. 0.8L when rebuilding, and 0.7L when changing.

I will update the spec's pages.
