Most other forums have come in introduce yourself section, so I guess I should.

I've been riding bikes for almost 20 years, have other 2 strokes from Smallframe Vespa to RG500 and I'm not afraid to turn a wrench. Do all my own work but have never even seen an NSR up close, but always wanted one.

Just picked up '89 MC18 PGM2, in fact I liked it so much I got 2 of them, just a coincidence that I ended up with 2 bikes. Second bike is not here yet, still waiting for the transportation to get sorted but it seems both need parts.

The one that's here is missing lower fairings, should I even try to locate stock ones or just buy the Asian re-pros? I did see the thread with fairingkit@live.com recommendation.

Also rear shock is blown, like it's not even there, bike bonces like a pogo, not safe to ride. What are the options for replacement on the budget? I can revalve/respring/modify the shock if needed.

Last thing on the list is a rear caliper, it's stuck and dragging, after a few laps around the parking lot rear wheel just locked up. Should I rebuild it if so are there any US model Hondas that have same size seals or is there an option to swap it for something smaller/better/more modern?
