I have a MC28 and have just blown my second rectifier. Does anyone know what causes these things to blow? I am running a full Tyga RSW body kit so not sure if it is the increased power of the front lights or maybe it was getting too hot when where it was bolted under the seat.

If anyone in NZ has a spare or knows where I can get one please let me know. My local Honda shop wanted NZ$206 for a generic one which seems a little steep and would hate to price a genuine one.
