Has anyone ever had to have daytime running lights on their NSR to satisfy the local gov't rules...

If anyone can provide some info..I was thinking to just bypass the on/off switch to have it stay on while it is getting tested. So the lights would stay on , not be able to be turned off while running and have the high beams still be able to be turned on and off..

Any help..???
