First up would be to pony up some cash to Andy for access to the English versions of the workshop manuals. Read through the first chapter till you get to page 21, and go over the lubrication points. After that, start on the maintenance chapter.

It's quite cheap to fix up problems before they take other parts with them. Afterwards, not so much.
