They seem real expensive but no doubt in a few years second hand ones will filter down through the market and soon enough will take over from the RS 2 strokes, providing young up and coming riders with a new, ready to rock, pure race machine to learn and advance on - in keeping with modern rule changes and political trends.
Hopefully the use of the more market relevant four stroke engines will mean more manufacturers might put the effort into this sector, rather than just leaving it to Honda and Yamaha (and i guess Aprilia too) to make competition road race machines for young riders.
