All hell has broken loose up here in Stockport. Wes is devastated now he has found out that my Roby Rep is going. There is much friction twixt the missus, Wes and myself. Wes is not communicating with me, he is upsetting everyone in our house hold. I tried to explain to him that because of work commitments, I am unable to use/ ride the bike and that perhaps it will go to a kind and loving home. He came back to me with a very true statement....... but dad it is so nice going into the garage and just looking at it! Do you know what?.......he is correct, I do go and sit and look/dream at my 21 especially when I have a problem or two to overcome.
I have had interest from several sources for the bike already and I am feeling extreamly melancholy about events as they are happening.
Through the ownership of my NSR I have gained many friends and associates the least of which is Roby Rolfo himself. I am meeting with him at next weeks GP in France, and later on in the year I am visiting his fan club base resaurant in Italy where with any luck the great man himself will be dining. Andy (the Editor) I would also like to class as a very nice person to know, as well as other NSR freaks that I have met over my 21 ownership.
Through my love of GPs and with the generous help with NSR fundraising I have also had the pleasure of meeting with Chaz Davies and his family, and I regulally keep in touch with him. I shall of course be meeting up with Chaz at the GP next week and have promised Andy a full report of my antics, which he has promised to display on the NSR site.
