This would undoubtably be the best option. If you could get the frame re-anodised, first you would have to remove all the steel parts from the frame like steering head bearings and rivi-nuts (unless the rivi-nuts are aluminium I cannot remember, it's been along time since I owned an NSR... ).
The caustic the platers use to strip the anodising would wreck any steel parts.
