Loosening all the engine mounts is a good start. I had the engine semi removed the other day to change the mounts as the bike had a bit much vibe. Took us a while to locate that torque arm, hidden away there behind the sprocket cover! Anyway, we put a couple of jacks with wooden blocks wedged between the jack and engine (to prevent damage). One in the middle and one under the bottom cylinder and jacked it to get the the engine to move up/down/forward and back a little. It's much better than trying to man handle the engine in to place while lining it up.
