Power Jet alloy screws really really really tight

anonymous.shyster » Thu Jul 14, 2011 3:47 am

I want to take a look to make sure that the power jets are not blocked while I have the carburettor apart. Unfortunately, losening the alloy cover screws is proving to be very difficult as they are soft and burr easily and they are really really really unbelievably tight. Tried tapping the screws to loosen them a little and a good fitting screw driver to turn them but they will not budge. Even tried some (light to medium) taps with an impact driver. Just cannot get them to budge...

Any tips for getting them out?
