I am looking to eventually purchase a Honda NSR. I love the bike, but I have never ridden one.

Anyone think it is smarter to go after the MC21 over MC28???
Furthermore, this business about derestricting the horsepower limits, is this necessary?

It seems you should be able to get some pretty rad speed out of 45-50 horsepower (i think thats the hp for the MC28??).

Basically, I am a complete novice at tuning and repairs so I need some guidance.

I would appreciate any insightful thoughts from NSR250 owners about where to begin? thanks
