You should always and without fail check the jetting after any modification, but if I recall correctly the seized bike in question had race pipes fitted.

Just to put some more doubt in your mind, we've seen bikes (MC18 and MC21) that needed to go a tad leaner, bikes that needed to go a tad richer, and some that needed no changes, but they all saw at least a 15hp increase in power.
