thanks for the Reply
have no idea how long the bike has been run using those plugs
so i know they are at least not hitting, but as far as too close.
who knows.....

i did some research / comparison of plugs
and some "Eqivalents" to the BR9ECM are

Splitfire platinum TP406B $5.99
Denso W27EMRC $2.24
Autolite SF406B $ 2.09

who knows what the rating of "Equivalent" means though

The break down for NGK that you just did was great Andy
no idea what the break down on those other "Equivalent" plugs are

Wish i had a set of all of Them right now so i could measure the height of the tab above the electrode, as this seems to be the concern in the equation.
