I'm new to this forum stuff (At 45 years old I'm new to forums) but I just bought a dry clutch set up that is supposed to fit my MC18. (Don't know if I have a I or II model. I was told by the ebay seller that I would need a new mainshaft, which I also purchased from him. He seemed to know a that there were only a dozen or so mainshafts left in stock as Honda has stopped producing parts for the MC18. I also needed a few gaskets and seals that I also purchased. I would think to go from a dry to wet clutch you will have to change the mainshaft as I had to. I haven't received the parts yet but this appears to be my winter project. If anyone is interested I'll post the procedure as I am a mechanic (almost 30 years) and a technical writer for Merc Benz, BMW and Volkswagen/Audi. Does anyone have a way to break down the VIN number so I can find out exactly what version of NSR I have? Thanks
