Its not all good news for them, my MC 18 lasted only two laps on its first track day and my first ride out on it. I came in after two laps because the bike was gutless and just aswell I did, my belly pan was full of oil and it was just starting to get on the rear tyre, smoking bad from the pipes and the motor due to the oil all over it. I knew the pipes were carboned up pretty bad when I had no power but after I shut it off they were still smoking and you could smell all the crap burning, I was almost engulfed in smoke . I parked it up and got the KR1 out instead and the day was saved.
Had a look see today and found the oil leak so thats ok and cut the pipes open on one of the seams and they are pretty bad so its off to be chemically dipped and welded up and new Tyga cans will be going on.
My first impressions of the NSR were good, it feels pretty stable and handles ok, mind you I never got up to any sensible speed. Compared to the KR1 it felt different and more civilised, the KR1 is just so light and manic its great to ride. Hopefully the NSR will be as fast when sorted
