Should help. The beauty of running the oil pump is when you snap the throttle shut from a wide open run, (about 300m to early if your me!) it's still pumping oil even at closed thottle.

Have you actually watched an oil pump pump oil in the closed thottle position?

And you still get e small supply of oil when you "snap the throttle shut" on premix as even if the throttle is shut the butterflys never are (if they were the bike wouldn't tick over and would stall if you closed the throttle and dipped the clutch).

True, true. Very Happy
Run my road bike with the oil pump, the track bike is on premix. Neither has given me any problems.
