Carbs have been stripped and rebuilt, choke appears to be working ok.

Is it possible to get the coil leads (or the coils) the wrong way round? I had assumed that the coil with the shorter lead went on the lower pot, and the cable positions in the loom dictated which was which as I couldn't see how you could stretch the upper leads onto the lower coil. Is that not correct?
