The heating of the plugs always seems to work for me. We used to do it on my mum's Hillman Imp when it was flooded. When I rebuilt my NSR, I had the same problem. Got a bit trigger happy on the throttle, soaked the plugs and no joy. Pulled them out, heat with a small blow torch (only until hot, not red or anything) and replace. Went about 3 or 4 kicks later.
