Hi Mike,

Apologises! Sorry for crossing wires there, didnt mean to come across as a dick. What i was trying to say that for about 500-550 quid, you could always get maxton to rebuild your existing forks with one of their cartridge kits. Its just another option that is out there. Trying to find a good set of SE or SP forks is not that easy due to the age of the bike and that the forks are used as an upgrade to cbr250's. It took me close to a year to get the ones that I have and that was a combination of buying from people here and from Japan and then mixing and matching parts to get a good set and even then they needed to be rechromed. I also had to use Tyga for a new lower leg.

I ended up getting an aftermarket rear shock (wilbers) that is also fully adjustable. Age of the existing SE/SP shocks would mean they need a rebuild (if they are?) or an aftermarket one. There is quite a bit info on this subject here on the forum, you just need to do a search to find it..... most here know way more than i do.

It is still possible to get new R stantions BUT they are NOT compatible with SP or SE forks....how do i know this.... I have a set of those as well Embarassed

SE and SP will give you adjustability (front and rear) plus the SP come with a little blue dial on the forks for wank factor Very Happy

cheers
