I am on stock 15/42 gearing, and he is on a 40 rear I believe, and on a rolling start (1st gear at around 20mph) 1st gear is pretty much identical, then in 2nd I'll will gather some pace, 3rd and 4th I'll blitz him, then in 5th his accelleration is identical to mine. In 6th he very slowly starts to reel me in, but by that point it's too late and it's all over!! I don't know many circuits with a straight much over 1 mile, which is our test/plug chop straight, so that'll do nicely for me!
He is carrying a few (cough!!
) more kilos than me though, but hey, his MC18 is lighter... not that much lighter though!!
