Hmmm, note the lack of people willing to say "yeah, use xx Mjet, yy needle, zz Pwrjet, aa Pjet and it'll be fine", wonder why that is?
Anyway, the HRC card advances the ignition curve which increases the chances of detonation and changes the fueling requirement anyway so yes it'd need doing again if you had it set up correctly now then did the splice and used the HRC card after.
AFAIK the HRC kit contains several other connectors to mod the intake system and a whole bundle of jets, needles etc. thus giving you plenty of options if you change the setup of your bike in the future or get that into it you start changing the jetting as it's a bit hot and dry today
Please get it set up properly by someone who really knows what they're doing, don't suffer the same fate I did and end up with at least a knackered piston, cylinder (it's cracked as well as about 40% of chrome missing) and a damaged head (from the chrome bits melting to it) and possibily a shot crank from the bits of chrome floating around too, this could potentially see me with a parts bill for around £800 and all because it was set up badly.
They're aren't many firms in the UK who claim to specialize in NSR's, I've only found one (Apex Leisure) and my bike is up there now. I've said to them "do what you think is best" because I don't know what needs doing, nor do I know what's a safe road use setup, clearly it's not what I had before.
Obviously this is going to cost me a lot but I'd rather get one large bill now than a dozen smaller ones over the next year or 2
