Aright, those few more pennies I needed to finish her off, has grown considerably to accommodate for a new crank. As well as a few little bits and pieces I had found along the way, you can't miss out on a bargain when you see one. When I had her almost together I’d though I would fire her up to see how she went. Horribly, Couldn't get a steady idle. Upon further inspection I had found that the centre seal was leaking horribly (Teaches me to try my luck).
So know that I have the engine out and cases apart, I notice for the first time, I have one SP barrel and one R barrel, both with R heads. Vernier states 86.3 on the R 86.5 on the SP. Hmmmmm some more pennies. You would think I would have noticed this when I had it apart earlier in the year.
My order from TYGA has arrived; Bottom and top rebuild kits, SP rear head and a whole bunch of spares. With X-MAS around the corner, and a few weeks off work, hopefully I will have her roadworthy and on the road soon. Paint will have to wait a bit. I'm still procrastinating on what to do there.
