I guess I can't say they are bullet proof anymore. I was doing a trackday at California Speedway...everything was going great until the second to last time out. Made it 3 laps and the bike died. At first I thought it had siezed but it didn't lock the rear wheel and didn't make the typical sound when a piston siezes. Check out the pictures of the carnage. It looks like I lucked out and all the debris went out the exaust. 
Look at the pictures of the piston and see if you can figue out what happened. I think I know.
