i an using a 1987 mc16 motor out of a mc18 frame for a motor sport project ( superkart ) and have just notice the automix pump and cable on the top right of the crankcase, I do prefer to mix my own oil and petrol and take off the auotmix completly, has any one have comments about doing this.
is it possible to adjust the mixture using the automix.

I have been told that two strokes will sieze at the end of long straights when you back off the throttle to take a corner.
any thoughts please.
