So, which is it? You really need to identify the motor before anyone can offer decent advice. A 1987 motor does not have a G.P.S. or ECU controlled RC Valves.

Any motor after 1988 is easy to get over 60hp from, and while a 1987 motor can be tuned to high 60's, it will be more peaky and harder/more expensive to get there.
