Another question...

Been having hassle getting a clutch cable for my mc16, ordered one through my local shop using the number on here, and 3 weeks later it arrives, but is a cable for an mc21 I think as the inner is a lot longer. Been looking at the parts diagrams and cannot see how the cable attaches to the engine on the later models, on the '16 it runs down the left hand side of the motor to the bracket bolted to the cases. Is there a bracket on the opposite side on the later bikes?
