I was a member on here a few years ago,I had a mc18 2j,in rothmans colours,sold it a year ago and regretted it ever since!,so I have just brought another one.
It's another mc18 2j,its a good bike but just needs going through,I picked it up Saturday and have been just going through it.
It had the usual stuck floats/power valve motor not working etc,etc,but I have set the oil pump,sorted tps,battery,set power valves,cleaned carbs,set floats (12mm),fixed the servo,
And she runs beautifully!!!!

There's a few things that I have searched for and found the answers for and a few I can't,
1,as you sit on the bike,left carb big jet has 38 on it,and 132 on the small
Right carb big jet has38 on it,and 130 on the small,
I checked the standard carb settings but I don't know which carb is 1 or 2 and the small jets are different to the ones on here, oh the carb is a 7a 20a,
2 I only have one air solinoide when on your mc18 picture you show 2?.And I'm sure my old one had 2 but can't remember 100%,
3i couldn't seem to find how to set the tps sensor up as the original one when I tested it I got no ohms one way,(lucky I still have all my spares!,
Any help and advise would be a great help,
