If 1.5 gallons has leaked out, then it's probably not what I thought.

More like Neal says, leaking fuel tap & float valves. Or, you've left the fuel tap on & the carb float valves are leaking.

The part where it only occurs after you fill up got me thinking of my reasoning.

Mind you, American gallons are weedy small ones compared to our big English ones! It's about the only thing in America that isn't bigger!
Although, I've just thought, your "pints" of beer are weedy small ones too!


It's about 6 Liters more less, It finally stopped leaking today. Again, tested starting and running fine... I will wait for the kit to arrive and service the carbs to start.
