I've had Langcourts plating fail a number of times. Large section just pealing off.

I can't say Aptec are any better though. The last cylinder I got from them wasn't even round!

I'd rather just look for good second hand OE barrel. Having said that some of the NSR500V barrels need replating, these are going over to Aprilia to be done but cost a little more than Langcourts or Aptec but I'm told the standard is superb.
