Better add my two pennath...
I too really enjoyed it, despite arriving late and leaving early. I had no intentions of getting out on the track, but Andy Hook is a persuasive guy, and in no time at all I was out in an instructors bib with the novices. All looked to be having fun, and after the session I gave pointers to those I thought needed it. Mostly relax, and move your weight about more!
The night out on Friday was a blinder, and despite the conversation being 90% bike, not one cross word was heard. It really was a pleasure to be out with a bunch of like-minded blokes. And the girls there weren't bad either...
Saturday was quite an eye opener for me, as I'd expected more from my bike, but was happy to see such a large improvement from one jet size change. Just goes to show how damn fast I was round Llandow eh?
Of course, the downside of whipping the tank off in front of everyone was that they could all see the hideous state of my bike, and much piss taking ensued. Gits. But yeah, I deserved it... In my humble defence, it's been sat in my pikey van since it came off the tack two years ago, and I threw it together in two days just for the weekend. Passed an MOT ok...
Oh, and it WORKED!
Can't wait for the next one, though since I'm organizing it I can't promise track time or a dyno. But i will try...
