We've seen brand new RS250's that would've been older than this MC28, and they looked fine. Not sure you would've wanted to run them on the 20 year old slicks, but other than that, they've looked perfect!
Just check over and replace any critical perishable parts. Things like tyres, brake lines (we do stainless steel brake lines in the Marketplace! ), and possibly crank seals and fuel line.
I wouldn't worry too much! If you can afford it, buy it. The likelihood of finding another brand new one is so minimal, and I'm sure all of us here would like the chance if we could get it!
