Just bought myself a NSR250 MC16 (i think) tonight! I am very new to bikes, have always been a car guy but decided i needed to try something new and for some reason have become very intrigued in doing a bike project, i think its also coupled with that the car projects \are just really really expensive and being a student budget was just not cutting it!
well here she is,
looks in relatively good nick, the bike has apparently been standing for the last 2-3 years..apparently big end bearings have gone..
my plan is to do a total strip and a total complete rebuild! Do have plans for mod work but will have to figure that all out with regard to budget/timing of what work can be done when (e.g. what work must be done while the motor is open and apart) and what work can be done at a later stage that is more "external" modding, swap on, swap off instead of opening the motor again to do mod work.
back hweel seems to be "locked" it did start turning alittle earlier when we were moving it but then is locked up again.

will get the fairings off in the morning and get some more photos in!
would love to hear from you guys and get your guidance and opionions during this rebuild.
