Radiator upgrade? A later one will fit, but will take some spacing as the upper mounts for the '21 curved one are further apart. The stock item does work well though!

does the radiator in my picture look like the standard oem unit?! i woiuldnt know what its meant to look like and wouldnt know if previous owners installed some inferior rubbish thing.

Listen to the guys with the older bikes as they have the experience. I recently did my 1st motor strip down and rebuild and i really enjoyed it and would do it again tomorrow. Just familiarise yourself with the parts as you take them apart, read through all rebuilds on this forum and you should be fine. As neal says it will cost you more than you thought so dont rush into things, take your time and do it right.

Really good to hear that! i am VERY excited about this project and that is exactly why i joined the forum as i want to do this project the right way and to the best it can be without making unneccesary careless mistakes and just costing myself more money.
Any tips with removing the carbs? and also for the life of me does anyone have a photo illustrating where the gearbox oil drain plug is?!?!?! Embarassed Embarassed Embarassed
