But it's true, the NSR500V does like to save front tyre wear and unfortunately there's little the passenger can do about it, other than close the throttle, park it and go and hide.
Rumour has it that the 500 has sneaked over 140hp. I know it was less than that just before we rode it, but we did have a bit of a brass shuffling session at the track, and Stephen's had a fiddle with it since then.
That puts it somewhere between 1350-1400BHP/ton.
So if your tuned to the knackers 2012 CBR1000 makes 200hp and weights in at a paltry 165kgs then it's still only 1250BHP/ton.
Four strokes?.........Naaaa.....not for me boy.
