Does anyone know if the float height gauge (as shown in the manual) is available in the UK.
I find that there is an oil leak from my bike. It is constant at about 4 drips a day...don't laugh!
I have, for reasons of enjoying myself too much on my MC28, not been concentrating on finishing Noodle (MC21) but now have the space/time and nothing to distract me anymore.
When I finished building the motor I was paranoid about the oil pump system and changed pipes to clear type and lots of other 'paranoid' type stuff.
Anyway with a tank of fresh Super Unleaded, with a little oil added, I took her out for a little run. Started 'First Kick' and ticked over nicely with lots of smoke. Drove about 5 miles not revving to more than 4.5k (after warming up) but the motor refused to run 'clean'! It pulled ok but was hugely rich.
I then put her back onto the ramp and purchased the MC28...you know the rest.
Anyway, full attention back on Noodle I notice this oil leak from the front cylinder at the exhaust joint at its 'highest' point
It is clean engine oil, it's Motul and is not used or burnt oil.
My first thought is that it is oil just running from the tank into the engine and finding the lowest point of exit which, if that is the case, means that the crank case must be full of oil.
Not wanting to sound too much like a dick does anyone have any ideas before taking the motor apart.
