Now sold HONDA CBR 900 RRV FIRE BLADE

joeys boy » Thu Jan 17, 2013 12:38 pm

Not a two stroke but still a Honda!

Condition would suit collector or Honda enthusiast

I open to a part exchange for an unfinished/not started project NSR, rd 250,350, RGV 250, etc WHY

Price to sell £2450.00 ono

For sale is my unmolested beautiful CBR 900 RRV in original black and silver

16K MILES, 5 OWNERS

The bike has 16k miles on the clock and has had 5 owners since new who have all cared for this bike extremely well!
When the tax ran out end of October last year I gave the bike a full service carrying out the following Oil, Oil Filter, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Spark Plugs, Brake Fluid, Gold Chain DID and sprockets Renthal and a new set of Michelin Pilots (still have the stickers on them)
Whilst I was getting new tyres on I took the decision to replace the dangerously quick turning 16” front wheel for the more desirable better handling 17” and got both wheels power coated in the original colour (black) fitting new bearings and seals including sprocket carrier bearing. (Bike will be supplied with original 16” front wheel also)

The bike is unmolested in terms of that it still has the original un-cut mudguard, indicators, brake hoses and supplied with original 16” front wheel and is not your usual abused 16 year old blade!

The bike will be supplied with the following extras Titanium oval exhaust can, Carbon fibre hugger, Carbon Fibre Frame Protectors & Double Bubble Screen (xmas present so brand new).

With the exception of 2 small discrepancies on the left hand side body work the bike condition can only be described as outstanding scoring 9 out of 10 theirs not even any stone chips to the nose cone! A small amount of money would make this bikes condition one of the best in the around that I’m confident of!

The two marks are as follows 1st was a crack to the mid panel which has been professionally plastic welded (crack was about 1 inch long) 2nd is a scratch to the seat unit.

No furry aluminium, no pitted forks, no marks on the tanks, no scuff on the frame/swing arm, no ripped seats, no worn handle bar instruments, no rusty clock mount or bottom yoke all of these are normally age related signs of general were and tare and general use but as this has been extremely well cared for and only 16k miles from new this bike has none of the above.

The bike will be supplied with a long MOT, original tool kit and owner’s manual and some old MOT’S certificates.

If you are interested please pm me and I will arrange photos etc.
