Plug fouling

invigiator » Thu Jun 16, 2005 12:33 pm

For the third time now I've had to ride some distance on one cylinder because a spark plug got fouled. Bike runs fine on the circuit, but sometimes I ride it over to a friend's house where we load it into a van to go to the track, and sometimes I ride over to an expressway to do plug chops. On these occasions I often lose a cylinder, top twice, bottom once.

I can only guess that my midrange is over-rich so when I'm not max throttle the plugs are getting fouled with oil. It could be after I ride it on the road THEN let it sit for a week, then take it out again on the road.

I am running BR10ECM plugs, could this be a contributing factor??

Anyone else had this?
