Hi Guys,
I have another few inane / ill informed questions if you all don't mind. I now know my bike is a 1994 R2R from a search using frame / engine number. I'm thinking most likely the red/white livery as it has a red spring on the rear shock (assuming the shock hasn't been swapped out or the blue/white also has a red spring). Unfortunately the rear subframe has a code R2T so it's useless for working out the original colour (I'm told) as it was obviously added later after a stack. Anyway, the previous owner painted the wheels black. In addition, the front rim has some damage either from a small accident or, more likely I think, someone changing a tyre with a set of screwdrivers. I intend to get the rims repaired and restored to the correct colour. Is there any other way I can find out what the original colours were? Were the rims originally painted or powder coated from factory? Is there anywhere where I can find the colour codes for the paint / powder coat?
Cheers
Jim
