Cheers for all your comments and support, much appreciated.

And yes, Fontyyy is indeed a top man and a brilliant character, helping out with the RS rebuild, a bit of 'Pit Crew' duty and cheering me up by playing Basil Fawlty's 'You Vicious Bastard' scene was absolutely spot on the nail, just what i needed at that time.

As now discovered 'Jonny Law' was the guy helping to turn the RS vertical whilst the 'operation' was taking place .... thank you Jonny ...

Innes, the 4 laps i had before the session was red flagged were just incredible. The first two i had to complete the breaking in of a new top end so was only giving 9k max and that was fine on a bike i had never ridden and of such obvious 'second mortgage status' should anything untoward of happened.

I was very nervous all morning to say the least .... at least the toilets were clean and well stocked Laughing

The two laps i started 'getting on with it' ... well , errr , hard to put into words really ..

Lets start with, just amazing, surprisingly tolerant, massive engine, frightening brakes, immense character, F Kin awesome .... the power wheelies are just something EVERY bike should do and you can actually change direction whilst the wheel is off the floor which is not so easy on my Blade but this thing is light ... so light.... however i didnt have much time to experiment with that aspect before the session was drawn short ....

That though is my over riding biggest impression of the bike. When i bought my RS and rode it for the first time i was dissapointed it didnt power wheelie like the 250GP bikes did on TV and i asked IE to give me more power.

Mine has improved and now does wheelie out of the Melbourne loop if i lean back a little and get the power on early but the 500 does it at will .... in more than one gear Shocked .... and that, IMO is a BIKE!

Sadly, i will have to make do with the NXA but i have a curve bender to fit, it now needs a new crank and refresh and i might see what other 'tuning' is available to give me more power ....

I need more power!!!!

lol
