Hi Paul,
The mc16 has a lot of memories for me as I bought a brand new one in 1987 from Colin Appleyard in Keighley.
I raced it in the auto 66 championship, both proddie 250 and Junior Stock.
I got a best of 4th race finishes through out the following 3 years but it couldn't keep pace with the tuned tzr yamaha the top lads were on.
I remember wheeling it out of the back of the van at a carnaby practice day and the attention it got was unbelievable.
I could beat the standard yamahas depending who was riding them of course but for looks, exclusivity and of course build quality there was no comparison.
Performance wise your 21's and 28 will cream the 16 but for me it's all about the memories.
A mc16 would look good in your collection Paul.
Cheers, daz
