The electronics hold the MC16 back a bit, and it's hard work with the '16 barrels, but I reckon good power is still available with stock parts.
The easy route is to modify some R2J parts, for the best chance of compatibility, but some machine work is still going to be necessary to get 60hp+.
My MC16 F3 barrels have the same (similar) narrow exhaust port windows as the stock bike though, and my HRC carbs are 28mm too, surprisingly.
