Steve and I are pleased to officially announce that a deal has been done with GT Motorcycles in Plymouth for NSR-WORLD to run in partnership with them, which now offers us the chance to offer you a full range of workshop, servicing, tuning, dyno setup, and restoration facilities.
Performance Engineering has actually been up and running for just over a month, but on the quiet, while we settle in (and Steve cleared the last few remaining jobs for GT Motorcycles in parallel), but we are now officially open for business.
As Graham "Tadpole" posted earlier, we have already done work for him (a full derestriction, various mechanical upgrades, and dyno setup), have a number of NSR250 and NSR500V engine builds under way, and even recently shipped a tuned motor to our first overseas customer!
We can do anything from replate your fairing and RC Valve brackets, to a full restoration, rebuild your carbs to a full SS400 engine tune, and anything and everything in between.
During this initial period we are able to offer forum members an introductory labour rate of £45+VAT per hour (usual workshop rate is [now] £75 p/h).
As we know we are a long way from most people, we have a deal with a local guest house (room only) just 200 metres from the workshops for £20 per night (£25 en suite), so no worries about multiple trips to the South West just to deliver and collect your most precious asset!
We aim to provide you with the highest quality of service, a personal and personable experience, in a professional environment, and the opportunity to have your NSR or RS worked on by the most experienced technicians in the UK, and quite probably in the western hemisphere!
We would sincerely like to thank Steve "Cousin Steve" Haith and Mike Grainger of GT Motorcycles for this opportunity, the first of our customers for having faith in our capabilities and trusting our assurances, and all those who have supported us over the last 13 years "unofficially". (18 years, if including nsr250.com!)
Andy and Steve.
