Not sure how many times we have been through this, but surely the only way to compare ignitions is to run them back to back on the same bike, same day, same dyno?
Comparing one bike with another is not an indication of anything other than the state of the bike on the given day and how well its been maintained/built......and if anyone is really bothered about 1.5 bhp then they should be taking a dump before they go for a ride as well ....or at least going on a diet!
I seem to remember another thread saying an MC21 made as much if not more power with standard pipes as it did with race ones so I fail to see the relevence unless they are running standard MC28 chambers.
I have absolutely nothing but praise for what you and Steve do, but until they are run side by side on the same bike I still cant see any reason why a HRC carded PGMIV wont perform equally as well as a PGMIII. My thoughts are that as long as we are getting 60bhp (ish) from a 20+ year old 250cc bike with the looks and handling the NSR's have then everyone should have a smile on their faces....although I do hope my 300 kitted MC28 makes more than that when/if I ever get chance to bring it down to you guys to set up. If you do I would be happy to sling a PGMIII on it for a comparison, if its much better then it will stay on it as well
There is another 2p worth from me
