I know of a MC21 SE thats been sitting in a garage for roughly 10 years after a spill and although the owner hasn't given in to selling it to me yet i feel it won't be long before i get the call so im after some pointers as to what price i should be looking to pay.
I havent seen it yet but going on the condition of the NC30 i recently bought from him which had also been sitting for 12 years after a spill then a full strip and resto will be needed, but thats what im after if im honest. Panels are scrap, the tank is dented/creased, ive no doubt the fork stanchions will need replacing and no doubt the engine will benefit from a full rebuild too.
I know the tank is going to be the hardest part the find but it maybe salvageable yet i wont know till i see it, im not overly concerned on finding OEM panels if i can get the bike cheap enough then i can swallow the cost of a set of silhouette panels to make it a little bit special.
