It's been along time since I had an NSR, but I seem to remember making up two alloy plates fitted with rivinuts and bolting them to the fairing lowers. You do, obviously, have to drill the fairing lowers to suit but as Stephen says it does look neat.
Nice M5 dome headed Allen screws or even the small Philips screws that hold the infill panel between the fairing lowers would look good.
