Hi,

Just thought I would follow up with my results.

Check the video for a little sample.

http://youtu.be/mF1sapBKjm0

It worked a treat.

To confirm the voltage that runs through the GPS wires is 5.2volts when not selected and 0.0v when selected.

So I just ran one wire off the Battery Negative/Black terminal to run all 6 the black wires from the lights and tapped into the GPS wires for the voltage/Red. It works in the opposite way as in all 6 are lit and the unlit is the gear. But I'm fine with that. I tapped in to the GPS under the seat so if I need to pull the engine I can a little easier.

If any one wants to know exactly how I did it feel free to ask.

Also I have 12v lights but its only running off 5.2v so is there any need for a resistor??

Came out pretty good for under 30 bucks.
